Planorbella binneyi, large size, very wide whorls,
pronounced longitudinal sculpture. Specimens of the same size are much wider
that P. trivolvis and more corpulent.
This species is very poorly known. Was not included in Burch key, but mentioned
as restricted to the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. Other references list it as
occurring in Tomahawk Lake, WI and in the St. Lawrence River. F.C. Baker 1908.
